Everything was working. The science was working. With Burnett’s help and knowledge, it was all working for me. I was looking good, and feeling great. I was doing everything Burnett had planned, and got down to 8% fat without losing anymore weight. I was gaining more muscle and lifting heavier weights each day. I soon began to feel ready to start training to compete, and with Burnett by my side, started learning posing and getting ready to hit the big stage.

I was 30 years old, and in the best shape of my life. Better shape than I ever thought was possible.

Burnett Crawford changed my life three years ago. At 28 years old I had gone through so much pain already in life. While serving in the marine corps I was injured in combat in Afghanistan April 15, 2008. I couldn’t walk for a year and three months. The years that followed were hell not just physically, but mentally. My mind was shattered, and my body was ruined. I was out of shape, and was in need of a jump start. That’s when I decided to join the gym.

When I started working out with Burnett last April, I had just had baby number 2, 5 months before. I was exhausted and very out of shape. Not just because of my pregnancy, but because I hadn’t worked out regularly since my now 5 year old (4 at the time) was born. I have 4 boys, ranging in ages from 12-14 months, my husband and I run 3 small businesses, and dont have alot of free time. Committing to 2 hours at the gym two times a week seemed like a mountain to climb for me. But I made a commitment to myself to get healthy and strong, so Burnett became my calm within the storm. It’s the 2 hours a week that I give to myself- my body and mind. He is a quiet cheerleader, filled with smiles, happiness and positive energy. His work ethic is infectious and he pushes me to try my hardest and be my best.

I started training with Burnett after having my second child. I had been in shape my whole life but after having children and managing a demanding career, I wasn’t myself physically. Its been a few years and the results I’ve seen are tremendous. My diastasis recti has significantly diminished, I’m stronger and leaner. Burnett is an incredibly thoughtful, patient and deliberate trainer. He brings a positive, calm and reassuring energy and it’s always an absolute pleasure to see him. We train 3 days a week and he’s always there to offer guidance the other 4.
